Processes provides a structured workflow editor where each runbook or procedure is broken into discrete numbered steps, each with an assigned owner, expected completion time, and optional dependencies. Unlike static Word or SharePoint documents, Processes tracks real-time completion status per step and generates PDF evidence reports showing what was done and when.

The module works well for any repeatable security procedure with defined steps: incident response runbooks, new employee onboarding (access provisioning, security training), offboarding (access revocation, device return), patch management workflows, third-party vendor review procedures, and annual internal audit preparation — anything that currently lives in a document with tick boxes.

ISO 27001 Clause 8.1 requires that the organisation plans, implements, controls, and reviews processes needed to meet security requirements. The Processes module's step tracking, owner assignment, and completion records provide documented evidence that your operational procedures are not just written down but actively executed and reviewed on schedule.

Yes. Processes supports a reusable runbook library — a template can be defined once and instantiated as many times as needed.
